Imagine you live on a far away place where it’s super hot or super cold, or in a desert where there’s no running water, or a bear could eat you, or .... would your product still be useful? Can it be adapted to work in this environment? What changes would be needed?
DOIT young innovators are experts when it comes to helping one another. Therefore it is crucial to reflect with your peers, your friends, parents, neighbours, ... Pitch your journey/idea and ask them what they like, but also what they might like to change.
Link your passions and frustrations. Can you come up with ideas to make something new that can transform frustrations into passions?
Go to someone around you and help her or him. Ask if and how you can help. How do you feel?
Picture the problem you want to tackle in a way that it becomes clear and compelling enough to make other people care so much they want to help solving the problem. This exercise will engage the group in finding a common purpose and spark them to solve the problem together.
It is always good to have a stable clipboard for your notes. Use it as social detective or when you plan your projects.
