Picture the problem you want to tackle in a way that it becomes clear and compelling enough to make other people care so much they want to help solving the problem. This exercise will engage the group in finding a common purpose and spark them to solve the problem together.
Visualize the problem you want to tackle.
teams of 4 – 6 people
- Each participant should have a piece of paper.
- Once the problem has been introduced, ask participants to think about how the problem might be solved and have them draw several items that pop into their heads.
- Continue the exercise by having your participants draw the problem as a whole on a new piece of paper. (No one is judged on their drawing skills, the drawing will simply help in explaining later.)
- When everyone is done, have a group discussion on the different solutions.
